Howdy!
We have made some tweaks to our Bingo Showdown lobbies to help reduce interruptions and the times where you have to wait up to a minute or so before starting another game!
Historically, as soon as you clicked the Bingo House, you would get put into an active game. Whether you joined or not depended on whether you confirmed your bet amount and selected your desired number of cards. You probably noticed balls being called audibly and displayed near the top of the screen, even if you weren't actually in the game itself. After some time, you would be forced to wait until the game finished, and were unable to select bets or cards until the previous game finished.
In this newest update, we are tweaking this so that you do not join a game until selecting your bet amount and selecting your desired number of cards.
This means no more forced waiting or extra downtime. Instead, you get to play when you want to with no delays!
A couple minor changes you may notice:
- You will no longer hear balls audibly called while in the pre-game lobby. This is expected, as you aren't going to be in an actual game until you select your cards. Once you select your cards and start a game, you will start hearing balls called audibly as normal, and will be able to see and review all balls called at the top of the screen.
- You will no longer see called balls scrolling across the top of the screen in the pre-game lobby. Again, this is expected, as you won't be placed into a game until you select your cards.
This change does not impact the other features of the game, or how Bingo Showdown is played. If you get put into a game in progress after selecting your cards, any previously called balls will still be automatically daubed and available to review at the top of the screen.
Starting a game remains the same. Click on the Bingo House, select your bet amount, and select the number of cards you want to play with. When the game ends, you can repeat and play more, just as you currently can!

Happy daubing!
